Mark Clinton

Mark Clinton is a Past president, Arkansas chapter & a 25 year member of ASSP.  Mr. Clinton holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree (1983) with concentration in Finance & Insurance as well as a Master of Business Administration (2009) from Liberty University.  In addition, he holds an Associate of Risk Management (ARM) from the Institutes, earned in 1987.  He has been an Approved Professional Safety Source (APSS) in Arkansas for their Workers’ Compensation Commission’s Rules 31 & 32 since the outset of the program in 1994, is Certified as a Safety Consultant in Missouri and Field Service Rep in Texas.  He has assisted insurers in their Accident Prevention Program audits in Rule 31 compliance on a regular basis and is the author of Negligence in Loss Control: The people or the process?

He presently has a solo consulting practice engaged in premises, risk management and safety expert witness case work for attorneys nationwide, as well as frequent loss control surveys, loss prevention captive member visits and risk management assessments.  He has worked as a direct employee for three public traded insurers in their risk control, loss control and safety & health depts as a representative, consultant and manager as well as public entity risk management.  He founded Decisive Management Group, Inc in 1998, providing litigation support services, loss control & risk management consulting services to insurers, their vendors & captive insurance groups, on a state, regional and national level and currently serves as president.
